Hello and happy beginning of Autumn. I have been so happy to have the cooler mornings and pleasant, warm days leaving the extreme heat and humidity of this summer behind. Connecticut is beautiful this time of year as we switch seasons, pull out the fleece and eventually put our sandals away.
I was, once again, very blessed and grateful to be voted one of the 10BEST for Massage/Bodywork/Chiropractic Physician in Natural Nutmeg Magazine’s Readers Poll for the sixth year in a row. I am appreciative of that honor and want to thank all those who wrote in my name. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
It is the time of the Jewish New Year. I am focusing my thoughts and prayers on blanketing the world in new beginnings, abundance and joy. I am praying for peace in our world, the end to these climate disasters, for people to find their way and for stopping the violence that plagues us. May each of you find your joy and live with grace.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Please read the personal story I submitted to The Day, a newspaper in New London. I will celebrate eighteen years cancer-free this winter and am certainly thriving.
Some other good news- on Monday, October 28th from 7 – 9 pm, I will be teaching a Yamuna® Body Rolling Class in Glastonbury at Eclipse Holistic Living. I love this work and have been teaching it since 2004 and due to Covid, took a break. Learn how to roll on specific balls for self-massage, injury prevention and fitness. Join me, it’s fun and easy!
Go to Special Events (Sept - Dec) and scroll down to find the class.
Other news- on Wednesday, November 13th from 7 – 8:30 pm, I am giving an Introduction to Rolfing® in case you have friends or family who wish to find out more about this amazing process. This session is also offered at Eclipse Holistic Living in Glastonbury.
It should be a fun, informative evening.
I wish you a wonderful Autumn, great health and well-being and lots of love. Be sure to VOTE!
My best-
Sharon
